the cottage, called Owl's Roost, was immaculately clean and had a well, equipped kitchen. the owners, Julia and Nick, were incredibly welcoming and added a personal touch to our stay. the bedroom on the top floor with a four, poster bed and round windows was a delightful surprise. the bread, cookies, and milk provided on arrival were a lovely touch. we had an amazing experience at Glanhenwye Courtyard Cottages.

We received a warm welcome from the hosts and were pleasantly surprised by the generous Welcome Pack. The location was peaceful and beautiful, and the owners were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast option could have been improved with a wider variety of serving spoons.

Excellent facilities - plenty of hot water and high water pressure. Quality bedding, comfortable beds, and furniture. Large bathrooms and fully equipped kitchen. Well-finished property. Great location for exploring the Brecon Beacons and beyond.

We chose Galsbury as a central base to explore mid Wales. The 3-bedroom Owl's Roost was a beautiful, clean, and well-equipped house with a stunning four-poster bed. The owners, Julia and Nick, were welcoming and even mailed back a forgotten item. The location was perfect for walks and the kitchen was stocked with bread, cookies, and milk. Glanhenwye provided a personal touch and exceeded our expectations for a comfortable and memorable stay.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

One of the cottages may have a bright lounge with limited views.

The location of the cottage is absolutely stunning. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, it offers a peaceful and quiet retreat. the owners of the cottage were praised for their excellent communication and welcoming attitude. the cottage was well-equipped and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.
There were a few issues with the insulation in the cottage. Some guests mentioned being able to hear noise from other rooms or even outside.

Julie and Nick made us feel welcome and were always available to help. the 'Clean and Safe' system put us at ease, knowing that hygiene standards were high. the Hay Loft was perfect for our family, with spacious communal areas and cozy bedrooms. We loved the location, with plenty of amenities and outdoor activities nearby.
It was a great place to relax and enjoy our vacation. Cons: Nothing that I didn't like 😊.

Our stay at Glanhenwye Courtyard Cottages was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm welcome and the cottage itself exceeded all expectations. The underfloor heating made it so cosy, and the spacious and beautifully finished bathrooms were a real treat. The comfortable sofas and large dining table were perfect for gathering together, and the addition of a washer/dryer and two small fridges was so convenient. We were impressed by the EXCELLENT facilities, such as plenty of hot water and good water pressure for a quick bath. The high-quality bedding and comfortable beds made for a great night's sleep, and the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a hamper on arrival, was a delightful touch. The old stoves added a charming touch to the well-finished property, which was kept to a high standard. The location was ideal for exploring the breathtaking beauty of the Brecon Beacons and beyond. The owners staying on-site added a personal touch and were incredibly helpful. They even went above and beyond by mailing back a forgotten item. We couldn't have asked for a better stay and highly recommend this place to everyone.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully presented property with underfloor heating. the cottage was warm and cosy, and the bathrooms were spacious and beautifully finished. the location was central for exploring mid Wales, surrounded by lush green gardens. the owners were friendly and accommodating, even mailing back a forgotten item. the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds added to the overall excellent experience.
The lack of a handrail from the kitchen to the private decking was a minor inconvenience.
